Gas In Transition - June 2026
Innovation is a term that is intrinsic to the entire Gas value chain: from optimising natural gas extraction and processing, and all the way to commissioning Q-Max LNG tankers and identifying novel ways of monitoring methane emissions.
Behind every innovation in our industry there is a person; someone who had an idea and dared to push the boundaries of “this cannot be done” or of “this wouldn’t work”. Innovation never happens in isolation, nor can it be expected if the investment to pilot it or take it to market is not there. Innovation needs regulatory support to take off and demonstrate its proof of concept. It also needs iteration to get it right.
This edition of our Gas In Transition magazine is dedicated to those who innovate, men and women across our global Gas industry, and to organisations which constantly seek to challenge the possible. This edition is a tribute to them.
