IGU 2025: A Year in Review

As 2025 comes to an end, all of us at IGU look back proudly, humbly, and gratefully for what has been an amazing year for our global Gas industry and for its oldest and largest membership organisation!

Gas is not only "back", but it is here to stay for a long time to come: as culture eats strategy for breakfast - to paraphrase one of the greatest business thinkers of the 20th century (Prof Peter Drucker PhD) - so does reality, when it comes to global energy security, availability, affordability and sustainability.

We did a lot in 2025, and we focused our outreach efforts on influencing not just the regional and global Gas policies but, critically, the public debate and discourse related to Gas in all its forms.
