"Gas infrastructures play a key role in the energy transition path, demonstrating high utilization rates even in the long term. These infrastructures are positioned to ensure the sustainable resiliency for the global energy system, manage decarbonized molecules, facilitate emission reduction, safely integrate renewable energies and maintain system stability."
Dina Lanzi
Snam Senior Manager and the Chairwoman of CIG, Italian Gas Committee
"By enabling access to energy for millions of people, the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline (AAGP) supports regional integration, economic competitiveness, industrial development, and energy security."
Amina Benkhadra - General Director
ONHYM
"Argentina is a country that has long relied on natural gas as a key component of its energy matrix, and this is set to increase further with the development of Vaca Muerta, which will transform the nation into a natural gas exporter; not only for the region but also for the world. For many years, we have recognized that being part of organizations such as the International Gas Union provides our country with international experiences that can be applied domestically. Moreover, it allows us to have a voice within the natural gas community."
Mr Ernesto López Anadón - President IAPG
Argentinian Institute of Oil and Gas

Upcoming event: World Gas Conference 2025

The 29th World Gas Conference (WGC2025) is set to unfold from 19-23 May in the vibrant city of Beijing, China. Hosted by Beijing Gas, this world-class conference and exhibition will mark a pivotal moment in Energising a Sustainable Future by driving discussions on clean energy, innovation, and sustainable solutions.

Our Global Footprint

We represent the global gas value chain, with members in over 80 countries across six continents, covering almost 90% of the global gas market: from the supply of natural and decarbonised gas, renewable gas and hydrogen, through to their transmission and distribution, and all the way to the point of use.
